 DreamWorks Animation announced today that Kung Fu Panda is to be released on Sunday, November 9th, just in time for holiday gift giving. The story of Po—a big, clumsy Panda who works in his parent's noodle shop and dreams of becoming a Kung Fu master—will be available as a single standard DVD and as a two-disc Pandamonium Double Pack that includes a second companion DVD, Secrets Of The Furious Five. The companion DVD delves into the back stories of the characters in Kung Fu Panda and is available only in the double pack and only in standard DVD format. This title will be released on Blu-ray™ day-and-date with the DVD, as well. It does bear mentioning that the single DVD will be available at most retailers for under $20 and in the Pandamonium Double Pack for under $25, which will surely thrill parents on a tighter budget this season. The suggested retail price for the Blu-ray is $39.99, although if you are resourceful you can surely find it at a lower price.
